So we are back from our six months in Brazil with Project Amazon. God is doing so many wonderful things in the Amazon Basin Chrystal and I are so pleased that we could be a part of what the Lord is doing there for a short while. Over the six months we helped build countless Church's on the Amazon River, and led many to the Lord. We also had the privilege to help out with children's groups Monday and Wednesday nights throughout the six months there. It was a joy to not only spend time playing with the kids but really get to sew into there lifes with things of the Lord.
We also tried our best to jump into the language! Taking Portuguese classes Monday through Friday two hours a day. Which was frustrating at times yet towards the end of our time in Brazil we found it most useful. As we began to communicate more and begin to get alot of Brazilian friends because we could hold a conversation. We did our best to sew into everyone we meant in town and on the river alike.

We are finally here in Brazil! Things having been going great since we have been here. Already we are very busy. We have been helping out with the Childrens ministry here and have already went on our first village outreach. The children here are so hungry for love and attention. We will be in charge of children's prayer group Monday nights and children's cell group on Wedensday nights for the next four weeks. Also this month we are setting things in order to be taking classes to learn Portuguese. We want to learn as fast as possible. Please pray that we have Gods grace and learn fast. We are also trying to get things set up so we can pray for the sick in local hospitals here.
Next month Chrystal and I will be going on two boat trips down the amazon river each for a week. We will be building churchs at each location. We can not wait! God is doing amazing things here in Brazil, and our time here has just begun. |

Can you believe Chrystal and I will be flying out for Brazil in two and a half weeks? Plans for Brazil are coming together nicely, we just got our Visa's back in the mail, and got our shots all done.
For those of you in Rochester we will be coming into town Easter weekend after we get back from Alaska. The Healing Conference up here is going great, its alot of work but well worth it. You can really see the Lords finger print on everything out here, the mountains are breath taking, and the wildlife makes you feel like your in another world. It has been so great to serve under Global Awakening in between our two mission trips.

Since Chrystal and I have been in PA we have been volunteering for Global Awakening. Everything from general office work, bookstore help, media and janitorial. We have also been taveling with Global to all there healing schools. We're excited to say we will be helping at a school in Washington Crossing in two weeks and heading to Anchorage, Alaska March 12-15.
After getting back from Alaska Chrystal and I will be making last minute plans and packing for Brazil. We are planning on flying out on March 31st for Brazil, to start our six month term with Project Amazon.

After getting back from Africa this summer we moved down to PA were we have been praying and seeking the Lord. The Lord made it very clear to us almost right away that we are heading to Brazil next. Since which we have been in contact with a Mission organization called, "Project Amazon." We have sent out our application forms and are planning to head down to Brazil this coming March, for a six month commitment.
We have just received an email from Project Amazon letting us know that we have been accepted to come down in either March or April of 2008. We have been accepted as short term missionaries for our stay in Brazil.
While in Brazil we will be doing everything from not only planting churchs, but physically building them as well, language classes, outreach up and down the Amazon River, to general office work for PAZ (Project Amazon.) Words can not express how excited Chrystal and I are to be heading to Brazil to help in what the Lord is doing.

Dear Friends and Family,
Thank you so much for all the support you have given us for the past 3 months. God has been so faithful and good to us. Over the past three months we have seen many awesome things. One privilege is that we have seen over 800 people come to the Lord over our two-week outreach. We have seen many healings and many transformed lives. We have made life long friendships. We have experienced the Holy Spirit! And most of all we have found intimacy with Jesus.
None of this would be possible if it wasn’t for your support. We have many dreams and visions for our future, but we are patiently seeking the Lord for each step we take. We have the possible opportunity to go back to Africa this next summer, but we still don’t know if it’s the right timing. There is also a strong possibility that we will go to Brazil soon.
Right now Ben and I are visiting friends out in PA for a couple weeks. We will see where God leads us from there. Thank you again for all your support and love. We can’t wait to tell you about what God has put on your hearts next. Please continue to pray for us! We love you!
